ENCHANTED FOREST
Fairies, gnomes, dragons and trolls, welcome to the Enchanted Forest. Seeking inspiration from the natural setting of the park and drawing from the limitless possibilities of their own imagination, campers will become immersed in a mystical narrative. Collaboration and critical thinking are key as campers expand the limits of their own thinking and join the magical community of the forest to accomplish a shared goal. From recovering the fairy's lost magic to rebuilding rock troll homes, the Enchanted Forest is sure to spark imagination and capture the spirit of childhood.
CAMP TO THE RESCUE!
Camp to the Rescue invites campers to tap into their ability to think critically, creatively, and logically as they investigate mysteries presented to them by the "Bureau". This camp strives to accomplish the goal of empowering children to think of themselves as competent problem-solvers and influential members of society. The super sleuths will engage their mind, body and imagination as they decode clues, strategize master plans, and solve mysteries that take them on grand adventures from their lair and beyond.
NEW! EVERYDAY ENGINEERS
Everyday Engineers aims to engage children in the process of design thinking. Through investigation of the park environment and community, campers will seek and unveil a real-world problem they would like to solve. The team will ideate, prototype and test their solutions with intrinsic motivation and community stewardship as their driving forces. While we may not arrive at a practical answer to our problem (and that's okay!), children will internalize an innovative approach to problem-solving that can be utilized in a multitude of contexts.
